JohnE McCray wins his fifth Masters world title

JohnE McCray won the Mixed Pro 50+ division at the 2026 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships in Peoria, Illinois, September 22–26. He finished 37 under par, nine strokes ahead of joint runners-up Brian Schweberger and Shasta Criss.

The victory was his fifth Masters singles world title, following wins in 2016, 2022, 2024 and 2025. PDGA’s championship recap confirms that this is his third consecutive MP50 title.

    A Florida milestone

PDGA lists McCray’s home as Zephyrhills, Florida. His 2026 victory adds another world championship to the state’s flying-disc record.

This is a documented season milestone. The Hall has not announced its 2026 All-Star finalists or recipients.

  • Calvin Heimburg wins the 2026 OTB Open in a playoff

Calvin Heimburg wins the 2026 OTB Open in a playoff

Calvin Heimburg won the MPO title at the 2026 OTB Open in Stockton, California, May 21–24. He and runner-up Gannon Buhr finished regulation tied at 37 under par; Heimburg secured the title in a playoff.

DGPT’s recap identifies the win as his first Tour victory of 2026 and his 12th career DGPT event victory. The result extended his run of winning at least one DGPT event in every season since 2020.

    The season beyond Stockton

In its preview of the September 24–27 MVP Open, DGPT placed Heimburg third in the World Standings entering the event. That is a dated standings snapshot, rather than a final-season result.

The Hall is recording these performances as part of Florida’s 2026 season. Official All-Star finalists and recipients will follow the Hall’s review.
